NUCLEAR COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN ACI AND KNA HAS BEEN RENEWED

Nuclear Cooperation Agreement between ACI and KNA Has Been Renewed

Ankara Chamber of Industry (ACI), Nuclear Industry Cluster (ASO NUKSAK), which continues to work for the Turkish industrialists to be more involved in the field of nuclear technology, renewed the MoU with Korea Nuclear Association for International Cooperation (KNA), at the 5th Nuclear Power Plants Fair and 9th Summit, held in Istanbul. The renewed cooperation agreement was previously signed in 2021 in the field of nuclear energy between the parties.

 

With the agreement, cooperation opportunities will be developed between South Korean companies with significant experience in the nuclear energy sector, and Turkish industrialists who are willing to be suppliers in this field.

 

The Cooperation Agreement was signed by ACI President Seyit ARDIC and KNA Executive Vice President Min-Cheol LEE.

 

According to the agreement; collaboration between ASO NUKSAK and KNA on nuclear energy projects and opportunities will include small modular reactors (SMRs) and other future next-generation reactors. Online or offline industrial dialogue and seminars will be held between Turkey and South Korea for the member companies of the parties.
